Holy Week

Holy Week is a special time in the life of the church. Come experience the last week of the life of Jesus as we prepare to celebrate the hope of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Join us for Palm Sunday as Jesus made his triumphful entry into Jerusalem. Then observe the Last Supper with us on Maunday (Love Commandment) Thursday. Good Friday observes the cross of Jesus as he gave his life for us. Join us for these services and come as you are.

Don't Miss Palm Sunday!

Palm Sunday is a day of celebration and serving! Our children will lead us in a celebration of the triumphful entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as we sing Hosanna and wave our palms. After worship is the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. In the afternoon we are offering a serve opportunity through our partner ministry Sleep in Heavenly Peace where we will build beds for children in our community who need their own bed. Come join us for each of these events.

We don't have a dress code - come as you are! We want to meet the real you. There will be coffee and donuts in our Welcome Center. We have nursery and Children's Chapel for your children. We will offer great music and a relevant message. You're invited to join in to everything we do.

Children are an important part of our church family! We have trained nursery workers and Kid's Ministry volunteers to help your child know they are loved by God. Your child can participate in our Kid's progaming or stay with you in worship. Palm Sunday is all about Kids with our children's program that tells the story of Jesus to our age-graded egg hunt that follows. You belong here at Melissa United Methodist Church.
