Suzanne Taylor

Director of Formation & Innovation and Director of Communication (she/her)

Suzanne Taylor serves as the Director of Formation & Innovation and Director of Communications at Melissa United Methodist Church, where she brings together creativity, theology, and storytelling to help people discover their story in God’s story.

Suzanne is passionate about cultivating spaces where people can belong, grow, and be transformed. She leads initiatives in spiritual formation, discipleship, and innovative ministry, while also shaping the church’s communications, branding, and digital presence. Whether developing new ministry ideas, designing worship experiences, or crafting meaningful messaging, Suzanne seeks to make faith accessible, engaging, and deeply rooted in grace.

She is currently a seminary student at Brite Divinity School and is pursuing ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church, with a calling to bridge the church and the world through creativity, connection, and compassion.

Suzanne has a deep love for worship, the arts, and the power of visual storytelling. She enjoys integrating hand-created art into worship and believes beauty can open hearts to God’s presence in unique and transformative ways.

She and her husband are active members of the Melissa community and are raising their family here. Suzanne finds joy in creating, gathering people around the table, and helping others experience the abundant, grace-filled life God offers.
